App support
Everyday Futurist is a mobile app for iPhone and iPad. This page is for installation issues, Pro subscriptions, sync, privacy requests, and general help. We do not offer phone support; email is the best way to reach the developer.

Try on your device first
Many issues are environment-specific. On your iPhone or iPad:
- Update the app from the App Store (pull to refresh on the App Store Updates tab).
- Restart the app (swipe up from the app switcher) or restart your device.
- Check iOS version: Settings → General → Software Update. We target current iOS versions; very old iOS may not be supported.
- Offline vs online: Core journaling works offline. AI, subscription checks, and cloud sync need a stable internet connection when you use those features.
- Pro not showing? In the app, use Restore Purchases where available (often under Settings), and ensure you are signed into the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.
Billing, refunds, and subscriptions
Everyday Futurist Pro is sold through Apple. We never see your full card number. For charges, renewals, cancellations, and refunds:
- Manage or cancel: Settings app → [your name] → Subscriptions (or App Store → account → Subscriptions).
- Refund requests follow Apple’s policies, not ours. Use Apple’s support flow for purchase-related disputes.
- Pricing and free trials (e.g. monthly vs annual) are shown in the app at purchase time and may differ by region from what you see on this website.
Pro, Future Lab, and Sign in with Apple
Pro unlocks the Future Lab (AI-assisted tools, exports where offered, etc.). Sign in with Apple is used for optional cloud backup and sync across devices when you choose that flow. If something looks wrong after sign-in or sync, email us with details (see below).
Privacy and your data
The app is offline-first; most content stays on your device until you use AI, export, or optional cloud sync. For a full description of what we process and where, read the Privacy Policy. To request deletion of cloud-stored data tied to your account, email us from the address associated with your request so we can verify context.
What to include when you email
Clear reports get faster answers. If you can, include:
- Device: e.g. iPhone 15, iPad Pro
- iOS version: Settings → General → About
- App version: in Everyday Futurist, check Settings / About if shown
- What you expected vs what happened, and steps to reproduce
- Whether the issue involves Pro, AI, or sync (and if on Wi‑Fi or cellular)
